“What's the bravest thing you've ever said?” the boy asked. “Help,” the horse replied.

My passion

“I believe the greatest gift I can conceive of having from anyone is to be seen by them, heard by them, to be understood and touched by them.” (Virginia Satir)

Development requires both attention and courage. Courage means naming and facing uncertainties and following your heart to step out of your comfort zone and grow. From my own journey of dealing with situations not only independently but also together, my passion was born. A passion to support individuals, teams and organisations in their growth.

My expertise

“If you want to get somewhere, you need to know where you are now.”

As a trainer and coach, I work with individuals and teams on personal and leadership topics. Next to my extensive work experience and education, I use my intuition, life experience and genuine interest.

I am a trainer with an eye for what and how to learn, in both business and personal settings. For example through motivational analysis of individual and group profiles using Management Drives, behavioural analysis using DISC, Functional Fluency or through (tailor-made) trainings in leadership and team development.

In my coaching connection is key, with others but most of all with yourself. My three-year training in Professional Communication at Phoenix has given me further training in Transactional Analysis, NLP and Systemic work.

I am also a high level sparring partner due to my extensive experience (20 years) in leadership roles. I specialise in (complex) cultural and organisational change from both management and employee perspectives. Changes related to mergers, reorganisations, from hierarchical to self-organising and the importance of the human aspect in achieving a good result together.

My style

“If you do the same thing over and over again you cannot ever expect a different outcome.”
(Albert Einstein)

Helping people to (re)look at patterns, gain insight and take a step towards getting the best out of themselves. I take the lead in setting the movement in motion in a way that both generates enthusiasm and radiates strength through my direct approach. Using my own experiences and showing and using my own vulnerability is an integral part of my way of working.

What kind of person am I?

I have been described as connecting and approachable, not shying away from confrontation and perhaps putting my finger on the sore spot to get to the heart. I work with soul and professionalism to help individuals, teams and organisations grow.

I am curious about what drives people and why they behave the way they do. As a trainer, I set the learning process in motion by asking questions, mirroring, confronting, stimulating and/or using (physical) exercises.
